whisper & SHOUT! was Pipeline’s first ever play-reading festival, from which was born the PlayLab and the Bonfire Series. The annual two-night reading series included both one-acts and full-length plays, and was curated based on a selected theme.

The series’ aim was to spark new creative relationships that would lead to thrilling collaborations for years to come.

Pipeline has a history of bringing festival readings to full production:

• Pipeline produced Evan Twohy’s Bubble & Squeak at
the 35th Annual Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Festival. The production earned a place in the festival finals.

• Pipeline produced Colby Day’s Felix & the Diligence, or a Play About
Fishermen in the 1940s
as our fall 2011 mainstage at the Connelly Theater.

• Pipeline produced Adam Szymkowicz’s Clown Bar as our spring 2013 mainstage at the Parkside Lounge.
